چکیده
Abstract Introduction Cesarean scar pregnancy (CSP) is an increasing clinical condition that causes serious maternal morbidity and mortality. This study aimed to evaluate if inflammation markers measured by hemogram can aid in the diagnosis of CSP. Materials Methods A total 86 patients were included study. The cases divided as CSP (n: 42) normal (NP) 44). At time admission, peripheral blood neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, thrombocytes, systemic inflammatory index (SII) (neutrophil × platelet/lymphocyte), neutrophil–lymphocyte ratio, monocyte–lymphocyte platelet–lymphocyte ratio all measured. NP diagnoses made transabdominal or vaginal ultrasonography. Results In group, mean age (p < 0.001), gravida parity number surviving children abortions cesarean .001), dilatation curettage count = 0.013), monocyte (M) value 0.039) monocyte/lymphocyte (MLR) 0.035) significantly higher than control group. optimal M cut-off was found be > 0.40, sensitivity 78.57, specificity 50.00. AUC 0.632 (SE 0.061) for MLR value. 0.232, 61.90, 63.64. Conclusion Hemogram parameters, which are simple, inexpensive, easily accessible, used auxiliary parameter

Cesarean Scar Pregnancy: Diagnosis and Treatment
Development of a gestational sac in a cesarean scar of the lower uterine segment is a rare form of ectopic pregnancy. Cesarean scar pregnancy (CSP) is rising in frequency, as are cesarean section deliveries. CSP is a potentially life-threatening condition which, if not detected early and managed aggressively, can result in uterine rupture, massive hemorrhage and maternal death. The most common ...
متن کاملEctopic Pregnancy in Cesarean Section Scar
Pregnancy implantation within the scar of a previous cesarean delivery is one of the rarest locations for an ectopic pregnancy. Early diagnosis of this condition with the use of ultrasound imaging allows for preserving the uterus and subsequent fertility. However, a delay in either diagnosis or treatment can lead to uterine rupture, hysterectomy and significant maternal morbidity. With increasi...
متن کاملCesarean Scar Pregnancy Managed with Conservative Treatment
Cesarean scar pregnancy (CSP) is a rare, but life-threatening type of ectopic pregnancy. An exact and early diagnosis of CSP is very important for prognosis. The aim of the present study was to describe 4 women with CSP and discuss their clinical presentations, diagnoses, and various management options along with the published literature. Four women with a suspicion of CSP or cervical pregnancy...
متن کاملMRI in Cesarean Scar Ectopic Pregnancy
Ectopic pregnancy overall is the leading cause of death in the first trimester [1]. The incidence of pregnancy implantation in unusual sites, like cesarean scar is rising due to increased incidence of cesarean sections, pelvic inflammatory disease and dilatation and curettage [2]. Up to 72% of cesarean scar pregnancies occur in women who have had 2 or more cesarean deliveries [3-5]. The dehisce...
